Erykah Badu is ready to hit the big screen again in the coming-of-age film, The Land, which is executive produced by Nas.

The Land follows a kid who just wants to ride his skateboard without any hassle. To do so, he and his three friends plan to leave their hometown in Cleveland to pursue professional skateboarding.

Badu will take on the roll of Turquoise, the same color as her hair, in the film. Although it's still unclear how her character relates to the story since in the clip she's given only a few seconds of screen time with no lines. Instead, viewers get glimpses of Michael K. Williams and Machine Gun Kelly who play Pops and Slick, respectively.

This won't be the first time the Analog Girl tried her hand at acting. She's featured in the western, They Die By Dawn and in the crime series Hand of God. Machine Gun Kelly is no stranger to the silver screen either -- he appeared in 2014's Beyond The Lights.

On top of the star-studded cast, the soundtrack for the film sounds very interesting. According to reports, the soundtrack will feature new tracks from Kanye West, Pusha T, Nosaj Thing and Nas, himself.

The Land is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 29 along with the soundtrack on Mass Appeal Records.
