Beloved Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Webbie is in a bit of trouble this week, as he's currently behind bars following an altercation on Wednesday, July. 5. Webbie, real name Webster Gradney Jr., is reportedly being held on some serious charges that involve a fight with his girlfriend at a BR hotel in the early morning.

According to The Advocate, the rapper is being held in a parish prison for "aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree battery, domestic abuse by strangulation, false imprisonment, theft and simple criminal damage to property."

The Trill Ent. rapper who resides in Atlanta now, was reportedly in Baton Rouge for the 4th of July holiday. Webbie held the victim against her own will in a Comfort Inn hotel, where he reportedly beat her in the "head, neck, arms, legs, and back” with a closed fist and belt, and he fractured her nose, said the news site.

The victim also told police Webbie had been up for two days straight on a drug binge, that included cocaine and marijuana, prior to the the incident.

Everything the rapper is being accused of are considered felonies, said a Baton Rouge Police spokesman.
