You would think a person wouldn't want to insult or disrespect a artist they had to turn around and introduce.  Right?  Wrong!  That's exactly what happened at New York cities Hot 97 Summer Jam.  Prior to introducing Nicki Minaj, the host Peter Rosenburg called her music "bull**it"!  Really?  What was he thinking?  Nicki was scheduled to headline Hot 97’s annual event in New Jersey, even hyping up her appearance on Twitter hours before she was slated to take the stage.  That was until Hot 97 host Peter Rosenberg told the crowd, “I know there’s some chicks here waiting to sing ‘Starships’ later, I’m not talking to y’all right now. F**k that bulls**t. I’m here to talk about real hip-hop s**t.”

Again.....what the hell was he thinking!!!  That was incredibly stupid.  Not just that, but in my opinion extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.  After you say someones music is "bull**it", how do you turn around and introduce them?  Here's the video of Rosenburg dissing Nicki.  Check it out and see if Lil Wayne had a valid reason to yank Nicki from the concert.

One things for sure Rosenburg didn't have that to worry about, because word got to Lil Wayne immediately and when he heard of ol' boys diss, he pulled the plug on Nicki's performance.  Maybe he will think before he opens his mouth next time, if he gets another opportunity at a next time.  Shortly after Nicki got word that Weezy didn't want her to perform, she turned to Twitter and tweeted "Wow. U ni**az just f**ked up history. But the President has spoken.  I go above and beyond for my fans. But won’t ever go against wayne’s word. What he says, goes.”

Nicki also sent out thanks to “the staff @ philly & boston summer jams for treating their guests w/respect! Had a blast.”  By the way, their were other Young Money artists on the line-up like DJ Khaled and Busta Rhymes and they didn't perform either, thanks to Rosenburgs lil diss.
