A Clarksville, Georgia man is facing criminal charges for an extreme act of negligence. He 'accidentally,' set his wife on fire by flicking a lighter near the gas tank of his pickup truck, while refueling.

According to reports, 37-year-old Austin Dawkins, of Clarksville will be charged with reckless conduct, which is a misdemeanor, punishable up to one year in jail and a 1,000 fine. His 30-year-old wife Jessica Dawkins, suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to her legs, arms, back ,and head on October 16th, because Austin Dawkins lit his cigarette lighter and then lowered it near the gas tank where the nozzle was refueling his truck. As seen in the above video, Jessica Dawkins rushes to get away, Austin Dawkins removes the nozzle from the gas tank  and flames shoot onto Jessica.

The entire incident was caught on video by the gas station's surveillance camera.

I'm assuming Austin Dawkins has no idea of what vapors are.
