It was billed as the blockbuster MMA fight of the decade. The Welterweight Championship belt and title were on the line. Errol Spence was putting his WBC, WBA, and IBF titles up for grabs, while Terrence Crawford was defending his WBO title. The pay-per-view rumble was set for July 29, 2023.

The two fighters were well-matched and both with undefeated records. Weighing in at 147 for the welterweight professional bout. Crawford was 39-0 and Errol was 28-0 going into the ring. This is a major reason why most people couldn't decide on a clear win.

Most people had the fight at 50/50 either way. It was anyone's fight. So it wasn't like Crawforfd's win wasn't that big of a surprise. However, how he won was! Errol Spence was outboxed and literally pummeled. Crawford beat the daylights out of the man, knocking him down 3 times and walking about with the win after the ref stopped the fight.
