The Peoples Station 107 Jamz welcomes the 31st annual Iowa Rabbit Festival to Lake Charles. With the event growing more and more over the year, and has had to move to a bigger venue with plenty of parking spots.

It all happens inside The Burton Coliseum on Friday March 17th and Saturday March 18th.This is to allow more people to attend and to also offset the possibility of rain affecting the great artist.

I remember going when I first got here to Lake Charles and it was something I have never seen before. There were rides for everyone to enjoy and the food was on another level. One of the funniest moments for me was when I ran across a man who was there and he was enjoying some rabbit on a stick. He tried his best to get me to eat some and even offered to pay for mines. I couldn't help but remember a baby rabbit that I had several years ago and I could not eat any. And believe it or not I have not had any yet and I have been here for over 14 years.

Check out the lineup of great talent who will be gracing the stage on next weekend.
