Wiz Khalifa, French Montana and 2017 XXL Freshman Kyle are about to be movie stars. Well, it's a little early to say that, but the three rappers are all set to star in the forthcoming Netflix coming of age hip-hop film, The After Party.

As first reported by the folks at Variety, the flick will revolve a "music business theme" as it follows the exploits of two friends trying to land record deals before they make major life decisions. One friend is planning to head to college, while the other will look to join the army. It's unclear how big French, Kyle and Wiz's roles in the film will be, but Wiz did appear in the 2011 film, Mac and Devin Go to High School.

Filming for the movie has already started and will last for six weeks. Some scenes capture parts of The Meadows Music and Arts Festival at Citi Field in Queens and a live concert at the Gramercy Theater. It's being put together by Def Pictures, Live Nation Productions, WorldStar Hip Hop, and Hunting Lane Films.

The events of the film, which will also star the likes of Teyana Taylor, Blair Underwood, Harrison Holzer and Shelley Hennig, will take place over the course of one eventful night. Late WorldStar Hip Hop founder, Lee “Q” O’Denat, was reportedly inspired by flicks like Ferris Bueller's Day Off when he conceived the idea for The After Party.

Russell Simmons, Jamie Patricof, Jake Stein, Trevor Engelson, Heather Parry, Doug Banker, and O’Denat are producers on the film. Jonathan Montepare,  Michael Rapino and Katie McNeill are executive-producing the flick.

There's currently no release date.
