The Sauce Factory member SosaMann has joined Taylor Gang Records. Wiz Khalifa made things official today (March 29) when he went on Twitter to announce that the Houston rapper signed a deal with the label.

"Sosaman just signed his deal. It's TGOD for life (sic)," Wiz Khalifa wrote.

The signing of SosaMann has been called one of Houston's "worst-kept secrets" as it had been apparent for much time now that the "Whoa" rapper lined up a deal with Wiz Khalifa's imprint.

Things were all but confirmed when SosaMann released his new mixtape Sauce Eskobar earlier this month. The FADER referenced his signing with Taylor Gang in their article on the new project. There was also a Wiz Khalifa collaboration titled "Not the Vine," which you can listen to below, featured on the mixtape.

The Wiz Khalifa co-sign has already paid dividends as SosaMann garnered more attention than ever before in his career with the release of Sauce Eskobar. While the rapper has made quite the name for himself locally in Houston, the national spotlight has avoided him up until this point.

SosaMann's Sauce Factory cohorts the Sauce Twinz received much of the national recognition in the past due to the fact their music caught the ears of Drake. That connection later soured, which resulted in Sauce Walka dropping a Drake diss called "Wack to Wack."

Now that he's officially linked up with Wiz Khalifa, SosaMann seems poised to break out of the Sauce Twinz's shadow.
