Young Buck has been arrested in his home state of Tennessee. Police tell TMZ that the rapper threatened to burn down his ex-girlfriend's apartment on Wednesday (July 20).

Buck's former girl received a text from the rapper and reported it to the police. In the message, a threat was issued, but things didn't stop there. Buck kicked down the door of her apartment, resulting in the rapper's arrest Thursday (July 21). His mugshot can be seen above.

The G-Unit member was held in custody for a few hours before being released on $5,000 bond. The incident could violate Buck's probation meaning a more serious consequence down the line.

The rapper just released a new mixtape, 10 Bodies, last week, with Waka Flocka as the lone feature and production credits to Zaytoven, London on da Track, Bandplay and more. The 11 track tape is hosted by DJ Drama and DJ Whoo Kid and follows December’s 10 Pints mixtape.

That new project hit the net just a few days after Young Buck made an impassioned appearance on TMZ Live, issuing some strong statements about fighting back against crooked cops. “I do feel like just us as people, we do got the right to be able to protect our lives from those crooked police officers that feel like they got the right to come take your innocent life,” he said. “Black or white. I didn’t make it to TMZ Live until an innocent life was tooken. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.”
