Young Dro Sentenced For Banana Pudding Assault

AllHipHop obtained legal docs reveal rap star Young Dro is going to jail for shoving a plate banana pudding in his girlfriends face and physically assaulting her. The rapper whose real name is D'Juan Montrel Hart, was arrested for domestic violence in July. He and his then, girlfriend go into a verbal dispute that allegedly turned physical.

At this time it's unclear as to what they were fighting about, or who drew the first blow. AllHipHop reports, his girlfriend was not going to press charges in the beginning.  Clearly, she had a change of heart.

Dro plead guilty to the assault and was charged with one count of battery and family violence. The Shoulder Lean star was recently sentenced to a total of 12 months. He received credit for 20 days and will end up doing 60 days in jail. In addition to undergoing monthly drug/alcohol tests, the rapper will also have to attend domestic violence counseling.
