If you've been waiting on Young Thug's Jeffery to drop, don't get too excited—it's still not here. But Thugger has dropped a little something with T.I. to hold you over, "Bobby Womack."

The song, produced by London on the Track, does as it says, and pays homage to the late great soul singer, as T.I. raps about being in the "cadillac bumpin' Bobby Womack" on the hook.

Over a slow driving bass line, snapping hi-hats and creeping chords, Thugger gets in and out quickly, spitting only one verse before Tip comes back in for the hook.

"I want racks and features with bouquets/And my motor's loud as a parade/I got 20 chains on, I'm a slave/To the money, for free not today," Thugger raps.

Tip then comes in on the bouncy hook, "I can give it to your ass if you want that/Get a whole bag if you need that/Big pimpin', tryna bring Romey Rome back/In the Cadillac bumpin' Bobby Womack."

The song is a short teaser before Young Thug's mixtape drops. The rapper went on Instagram yesterday (Aug. 17) to explain why the project was delayed.

“The reason the mixtape isn’t out is because the photo they were going to use, I didn’t like the photo,” he said, adding that it’s important that the photo is not only pleasing to him, but to his fans as well.

In the meantime, listen to "Bobby Womack" below.
