Up-and-coming rapper Yung Mazi was shot in the chest at an Atlanta waffle house on Tuesday morning (Dec. 27).

According to CBS News, Mazi and his friend walked into the waffle house to order food when when someone who was already inside the restaurant walked up to him and shot him once in the chest. No one else was injured during the shooting.

Luckily, his friend rushed Mazi to the hospital where he’s recovering although his condition hasn't been revealed. Hours after entering the hospital, Mazi went on his Twitter page and wrote, “God made me bulletproof.” That tweet has since been deleted.

For the record, Yung Mazi has been shot at least 10 different times. In an interview with DJ Smallz he said that he keeps getting shot because of his skin tone and the fact that “some people don’t like real dudes.” Muzi also believes that people are jealous of him because he wears expensive accessories. “I might walk around with a quarter-million-dollars-worth of jewelry on,” he said.

It’s time for Mazi to start wearing a bulletproof vest. We are just saying.

The shooter remains at large and police have no suspects at this time.
