When you talk about patience and actually waiting you time. There is not one artist that I know who is more patient then S-8ighty. This guy is the musical movement behind Zero To 60 records and has been that since around 2008. He has produced several classics from Supa Blanco, The Youngest 1's and so many more as well.

I am a big supporter of these guys and have been around since they kicked it off. When the CEO of the label Raymond Smith showed up here at the station, he came along with his then artist Supa Blanco and brought a song called "I Bet I Do". The song had a catchy little beat and made an impact to the point that they packed out a local club here in Lake Charles. Fast forward to 2015 and now producer and artist S-8ighty is in the drivers seat.

8ighty is the sauce to the meal and creates some killer tracks and has been waiting in the cut for his time. Late last year he released the single called "Circle" which did well on the charts, but this year he hit with a major smash. The song called "Halfway" hit the clubs and had everyone talking about it. The song caught the ears of some major labels and the bidding war started. Zero to 60 eventually signed to Universal/ Republic who is the home to Cash Money, Post Malone and so many more. I had the chance to really sit down with the homie along with his CEO the Fatt Mack and talk music and more inside The Afternoon Jumpoff.
