R&B singer August Alsina had the ultimate health scare a few weeks ago.  On September 15th the singer passed out, mid performance, fell off the stage, was rushed to the hospital, had several seizures and spent three days in a coma.  He was obviously in serious condition for a while.  His family, fans and celebrity friends like Nicki Minaj, Chris BrownJuicy J and others rallied around him and sent well wishes on Instagram.

Though there's still no word on why the singer was having seizures, nor what caused the coma, he was said to have passed out to do exhaustion and dehydration.  As Alsina began to recover, he reached out to his fans and share he had been in a 3-day coma and encouraging his followers to “cherish the ones in life who cherish you & take good care of yourself.”

Now the singer is doing much better.  BET Reports the 22-year old was released from the hospital Tuesday September 23rd and resting comfortably at home in New Orleans. Alsina shared a couple of selfies on Instagram with the following caption, “On the road to a place kalled recovery.” He also took to Twitter saying, “Healthy enough to b Discharge from the hospital today…Scariest time of my life.. but I’m a soulja & so is God. Thankyou for your prayers.”

Soon it will be back to business as usual.  The young singer has been in demand for the most part of the year, as his career is really starting to take off.  In spite of the fact that his Testimony Live tour was brought to a abrupt stop, Alsina will soon be a 27-date trek with Usher.
