Today is the last day to register to vote, it want to vote in the Senate run-off between Mary Landrieu and Bill Cassidy.  Here's your chance to get involved and make a difference. Now more than ever, your vote is needed and has true power behind it.

Of course in order register to vote, a person must be a U.S. citizen, 18 yrs old to vote (17 yrs to register), can't have a order of imprisonment for a conviction or felony, must be mentally competent, and reside in the state and parish you register.

There's several ways you can register to vote:

1. Register online, you have till midnight tonight

2. In person at the Registrar of Voters office, 337-721-4000 (Lake Charles office closes at 4:30pm) or at the following locations:

1. Louisiana DMV

2. Armed forces recruitment offices

3. Louisiana Dept. of Social Services
4. Wic or food stamp offices
5. Medicaid office
6. Any office serving disabled persons like, Deaf Action Centers and Independent Living Offices

Again, if you want the opportunity to make a difference in the U.S. Senate run-off race December 6th, between Mary Landrieu and Bill Cassidy and you are not registered to vote.....TODAY IS THE LAST DATE TO REGISTER TO VOTE ON THAT RACE.
