Below is video of an interview of a Fulton County police officer shortly after she was found.

As we previously reported, 21-yr old Bobbi Kristina was found face-down in a bathtub in the couple’s home in Roswell, Ga., by her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend.  Whitney's babygirl was unconscious and Gordon performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived. TheBoomBox reports police said she was alive and her breathing when she was admitted into a North Fulton Hospital.

PEOPLE.com reports a family member told them Bobbi Kristina has very little brain activity and her loved ones are "praying, hoping for the best."

Dr. Eli Zimmerman, a Neurologist of Massachusetts General Hospital told PEOPLE Bobbi's prognosis will depend on "how much oxygen her brain was getting" before she was found. As for hopes of a full recovery, Dr. Zimmerman said,

"Even minutes [without air] can be grim."  Adding patients are "often kept on medications that slow down brain activity to be able to keep down the amount of energy the brain requires. In some patients, the body temperature is dropped slightly to reduce energy requirements even more, though this is generally only done for 24 hours."

Dr. Zimmerman noted, positive signs of brain function improvement includes pupils dilating, eyes blinking and any type of physical reaction.  He said, "Once things have stabilized, the medications that are keeping the patient sedated are decreased to be able to get an accurate assessment of how the brain is working."  The Dr. further stated, issues with most patients who survive severe oxygen deprivation, "hospitalization is usually pretty long, as is rehabilitation, with recovery often measured in months."   The fact is most patients can experience cognitive difficulties, changes in behavior and seizures.

For now, Dr. Zimmerman said of Bobbi Kristina's family and friends, "I always tell families not to make decisions when they're under stress," he says. "It's okay to have doctors or nurses take care of loved ones for a few days."
