City of Lake Charles Releases List of Do’s & Don’ts During Mardi Gras

As we prepare to celebrate Mardi Gras throughout Southwest Louisiana there a few things you should know about the festivities in Lake Charles, of which will be observed on Tuesday, February 17th.

On Fat Tuesday the Motor Gras parade kicks off at 11 a.m., and later the Krewe of Krewes parade is at 5 p.m. The parades begin at the north end of Bord du Lac Drive, cross over Lakeshore Drive onto West Mill Street, turn right onto Ryan Street and continue south on Ryan to Sale Road.

Look out for the 107 Jamz crew to show up in the parade as well. We’ll see you at the Mardi Gras! Laissez les bon temps rouler!
