Digital Version Of 'The Chronic' Now Available On Apple Music

According to Rolling Stone, Dr. Dre's legendary debut album The Chronic, is now available digitally for the first time ever. Apple Music launched their streaming service yesterday and it just so happens they will be the only streaming service offering the album.

So why did it take so long? Well Dre and Death Row Records have been involved in massive legal battles over who had the rights to sell The Chronic and other Dr. Dre recordings for years. It's because of this, that the digital availability of the LP has been limited. In 2011 Dre won the digital rights to album, leaving Death Row only allowed the sell it on CD's, cassettes, 8-track and vinyl.

Finally Page Six reports The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, was officially charged for hitting a off-duty cop during a pick-up basketball game in L.A.

Game plead not guilty in court Monday (June 30) and been charged with one felony count of making criminal threats and one count of misdemeanor assault and battery. The rapper/actor is currently free on $50,000 bail. As previously reported the incident occurred at Hollywood High School back in March, were the rapper and the cop played on opposite teams. After some back-and-forth occurred and Game sucker-punched the officer.
