Dwayne Johnson Resolves Alleged Vin Diesel Feud, Will Return For Ninth ‘Fast and Furious’
Last summer, a spat allegedly broke out between Fast and Furious franchise megastars Vin Diesel and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson while shooting the latest installment The Fate of the Furious. There were rumors of unprofessionalism on set, Johnson threw around the term “candy-ass” pretty liberally, it was a hoot for all involved. But it did cast some doubt on Johnson’s future with the series; there was no telling whether the performer could be persuaded to return for another collaboration with a guy he seemingly couldn’t stand. But a new revelation today (well, new for all of you — Johnson and I are well-documented besties and have been Gchatting about this all week) clarifies the fate of this furious man.

Long-Awaited Horror Indie ‘The Blackcoat’s Daughter’ Gets Release Date, Photos
Osgood Perkins made his directorial debut this past October with the staid, eerie Netflix release I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House, except not really. When attendees at the Toronto International Film Festival lined up to catch that film’s world premiere back in September, many were reminiscing about the proceedings one year earlier, where Perkins’ real directorial debut February screened. The horror indie made a positive impression on critics and landed a deal with boutique distributor A24, but floated around post-production purgatory for the entirety of 2016. But at last, parties intrigued by murmurs of this creepy festival standout will get their wish — the film since retitled The Blackcoat’s Daughter finally has a release date.
Schedule Shuffling at Fox May Have Just Outed the ‘Avatar 2′ Release Date
Big things are a-happenin’ over at Fox, per The Hollywood Reporter. The studio made a slew of scheduling changes on the night before Thanksgiving as a sort of special edition of a Friday dump. (That term refers to the PR practice of burying bad or otherwise uninteresting news on a Friday afternoon, when coverage will be minimal.) Big-name projects have all been shuffled around, and that’s all fully detailed below, but the most eye-catching item on Fox’s docket happens to be an unnamed project from James Cameron’s production company Lightstorm Entertainment.
Tracy Morgan May Star Opposite Ed Helms and Amanda Seyfried in ‘The Clapper’
It hasn’t been two years since the six-car collision that threw Tracy Morgan’s whole future into question, but the actor has already begun his comeback. He appeared in the Christmas comedy The Night Before back in the winter as the omniscient narrator, and will soon appear in the ensemble comedy Fist Fight with Charlie Day, Christina Hendricks, and Ice Cube...

Walker’s daughter Meadow filed a lawsuit against Porsche under the banner of “wrongful death,” attributing her father’s untimely death to numerous defects in the car’s design. Industry trade papers are now reporting that officials from Porsche have handed down a response to the lawsuit, claiming that the accident and any injuries sustained therein were ultimately Walker and Rodas’ “own comparative fault.”
