Named Lake Charles' favorite on-air personality for 19 years straight, Dale Mann IS Lake Area radio.  In a career that started right here in Lake Charles but has taken him to just about every state in South, Dale Mann has done it all in country music.  He's been concert promoter, pitchman, salesman, morning show host and even once had his own office on Music Row in Nashville.  If they're famous in country music, it's a pretty good chance that Dale's met them or worked with them.

This Friday January 24, in an effort to keep Calcasieu Parish residents safe, the CPSO will be conducting a DWI Sobriety and Seatbelt Checkpoint in the parish. These checkpoints will  target people driving under the influence of alcohol and or narcotics as well as those not wearing seatbelts.
