WHAT ARE THE CHANGES COMING TO SAM'S CLUB MEMBERSHIPS?

Free delivery has long been a benefit of Sam's Club Plus membership. As of August 19th, that "benefit of membership" will be discontinued. As of that date, Plus Members will only receive free shipping on qualified orders of $50 or more placed through the store's website or app.

Club members with orders under $50 will be charged a fixed delivery cost. The charge will be $8. The corporation described the "change" on its website's Frequently Asked Questions page. Here is a quote from that website.

"By adding a cart minimum, we are increasing access to different ways of shopping for our members. This will make it easier for you to get the products you want, the way and at the time you want."
