What began in 2014 as a celebration for Luna Bar and Grill's 10th anniversary has grown into one of Lake Charles' most anticipated annual events. The festival not only highlights local talent but also supports the community, with proceeds benefiting the Arts & Humanities Council and the United Way of Southwest Louisiana's Success by 6 program.
The festival will run from noon to 11:00 PM and brings the city’s streets together for a full day of fun.
Over 20 bands will take the stage across five downtown venues, offering festival-goers a diverse mix of music styles, from jazz and blues to rock and country. There’s something for every music fan, whether you’re there to dance, sing along, or just soak in the sounds.
Food lovers won’t be disappointed either. Vendors will serve up everything from classic local favorites to international dishes, and an art market will showcase the work of local artists. Families will love the Kids Zone, where kids can play games and enjoy activities designed just for them.
The fun actually kicks off the night before, on Friday, October 17, with the ChuckFAST Gleaux Run. This glowing 5K and 1-mile fun run lights up downtown Lake Charles, and participants are encouraged to wear neon or glow-in-the-dark gear for a nighttime spectacle.
