So now you have to decide what you want to do and where to go. We have broken it down for you and made a list of a variety of events going on in the area this weekend.

The Cowboy Block Party is taking place Friday night with The Chee Weez live on stage. This event is free and open to the public and all ages. It takes place on the corner of Common and McNeese Streets in Lake Charles. Here is all the info you need to know before you go.

Country music artist and Deridder, Louisiana native Chris Cagle will be live in Lake Charles on Saturday night, November 1. He will be playing at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center in Lake Charles. He will hit the stage starting at 8:00 pm. Check here for ticket info. 

The McNeese Cowboys football team returns home this Saturday night for a big game. They will host Northwestern State in Navarre Stadium, with the kickoff for the game set for 6:00 pm.

Just a reminder that coming up on Sunday, November 2, 2025, it is Daylight Saving Time. Your clocks will fall back one hour, so at 2:00 am, the time will fall back to 1:00 am. Look at it this way, you get one hour of extra sleep that weekend.
