The weekend is finally here, and it's been a long and hectic one, right? Several graduations have already taken place in the lake area, and between work, graduations, and everyday hustles, you are probably ready to get out of the house and ready to do something fun.

Jo Dee Messina will be live at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, Saturday night. Doors will open at 7:00 pm that night, with the show starting at 8:00 pm. Tickets for the show may still be available at Ticketmaster.com.
Comedian Dane Cook will perform live at the Grand Event Center inside the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles on Friday night at 8:30 p.m.
Wayne Toups will be live at Cowboys Night Club located at 5329 Common Street in Lake Charles, Friday night as part of the Rotary Club of Lake Charles annual fundraiser. This event is open to the public, and doors open at 6:00 pm, and Wayne will hit the stage at 7:00 pm. You can pay at the door tonight when you go.
The city of Iowa, Louisiana, is holding a Farmer's Market on Saturday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, located at 115 North Thompson Avenue. The market will feature fresh vegetables, fresh bread, baked goods, crafts, food trucks, ice cream trucks, and live music.
