The 2023 NFL Draft is set for the end of April. The New Orleans Saints have made some big moves in the off-season already. Some of the biggest moves include signing former Raiders quarterback Derek Carr to a four-year contract.

They also re-signed Offensive lineman Calvin Throckmorton to a one-year contract extension and hired Joe Woods as the defensive coordinator. Now with the 2023 NFL draft looming, most fans are starting to wonder how many picks the Saints have in this year's upcoming draft.

The 2023 NFL draft will take place from April 27th through April 29th. It will take place in the Kansas City, Missouri, downtown area, surrounding Union Station, and the National WWI Museum and Memorial.

The first pick in the NFL draft will take place on Thursday night, April 27th at 7:00 pm. The first team picking in this year's draft is the Carolina Panthers. So when do the Saints pick in the first round and how many overall picks do they have in the 2023 draft?

Here is your answer:

The Saints have the 29th pick in the first round of this year's draft. They also have the 40th pick in the second round. In the third round, the Saints pick 71st. In round #4, the Saints have the 115th pick. Going into round #5, New Orleans gets the 146th and 165th picks.

They have no draft picks in the 6th round but will get to pick 227th and 257th in the seventh round to finish the draft. So who do they need, and who will they take? I guess we have to tune in on April 27th and see who the brass decided to add to a new team they are building.
