Louisiana McDonald’s Brings Back Fan-Favorite With New Menu Item

Now, McDonald’s is fighting back by bringing back a fan-favorite item that disappeared from the menu five years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new McCrispy Strips are made with all-white meat chicken and coated in golden, crunchy breading. You’ll be able to order them in packs of three or four, and you can dip them in classic sauces like barbecue, spicy buffalo, ranch, or the all-new Creamy Chili dip.

McDonald’s said it took its time bringing back the strips to make sure they were just right. “We knew we had to deliver something so craveable that it was worth the wait,” said McDonald’s marketing officer Alyssa Buetikofer in the press release.

And there’s more good news: these chicken strips are a big step toward the possible comeback of the legendary Snack Wrap, which many fans are still hoping to see again.
