Have You Seen The New Lakefront Sign in Lake Charles? — Your First Look

[KNGT-FM] Over the past couple of years, significant work has been undertaken on the lakefront in Lake Charles, particularly along the I-10 corridor. We have seen several different buildings come up, including the new Port Wonder that is now open.

Port Wonder is a new Children’s Museum that is located on the lakefront in Lake Charles. The new facility also includes a Nature and Science Center located inside the museum, sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

If you would like to go to Port Wonder this Summer, with the kids, they are open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Saturday each week. You can check out the ticket prices here.

Right next to the museum, there is a Crying Eagle Brewery and restaurants being built on the lakefront. We are located just across the interstate from the new brewery, and by the looks of things, the bar and restaurant look like its getting close to being completed at least on the outside.

There has been another new addition to the lakefront in Lake Charles. Have you seen it? They have built a new sign that sits right on the lakefront by the feeder road of I-10 between Crying Eagle and Port Wonder. The sign says, "The Lakefront Lake Charles".

We noticed it being built, and they have now taken the cover off, and we snapped a picture of it for you. Check it out.
