This week we will celebrate our country's independence and there are a bunch of events going on in the Southwest Louisiana area. Different towns and communities will be holding different events for their area to celebrate the holiday.

The city of Lake Charles's big Fourth of July celebration will take place on Thursday with its annual Red, White, Blue, and You celebration at the Lake Charles event center. Moss Bluff is also celebrating its own but it will take place on Wednesday, July 3rd instead of the holiday on July 4th.
