Savannah Bananas Announce 2026 Louisiana Tour Stop
(KNGT-FM) - One of the biggest teams in all of sports right now resides with the Savannah Bananas. On Thursday, the group announced some of their stadium tour stops for their 2026 tour, and Louisiana is on the list! We've got everything you need to know...

Banana Ball is one of the more interesting things you'll ever watch; it is very unlike anything you've ever seen. The Savannah Bananas play a unique brand of baseball. If you've never been, check out some of their rules...
- No stepping out of the box: Batters have to stay in the batter’s box the whole time, which keeps the game moving.
- No mound visits: Coaches and catchers can’t walk to the pitcher’s mound, so the action never slows down.
- Two-hour time limit: Games are capped at two hours, no matter the score, so fans always know when it’ll end.
- No bunting: If a batter tries to bunt, they’re automatically out.
- No walks - it’s a sprint: When the pitcher throws ball four, the batter takes off running, and the defense has to throw the ball to every fielder before trying to get the runner out.
- Scoring by innings, not runs: Teams get one point for winning each inning, and the team with the most points at the end wins the game.
- Fans can catch foul balls for outs: If someone in the stands catches a foul ball, it counts as an out for the batting team!
