Things Going On In Lake Charles And SWLA This Weekend Sept. 6-8
Get ready Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana because the weekend is here and after Friday, the weather forecast will be perfect. The National Weather Service calls for sunny skies Saturday and Sunday with highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid to lower 60s.
It will be perfect to get outside and enjoy the cooler weather. One of the biggest things going on in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana is happening on Saturday as the Capital One Tower will be imploded and brought to the ground changing the Lake Charles skyline forever. The tower is set to come down this Saturday at 8:00 am. Here is a map of places you cannot be downtown while the implosion happens.
Randall King will be live at the Golden Nuggets Grand Event Center on Friday night September 6th, 2024. The show will start at 8:30 pm that night.

Linda's Lounge located on Lake Street in Lake Charles will have Chris Breaux and Six String Rodeo Friday night September 6th, 2024. Chris and the band will hit the stage at 9:00 pm. Then on Saturday night, Syeco will reign supreme as Mason Trail will hit the stage. Mason will start at 9:30 pm.
Dani Lacour and her band will be live at Brew Brothers inside the Horseshoe Casino in Westlake, Louisiana. Dani will hit the stage starting at 9:00 pm and play until Midnight.
