The Louisiana High School Finals Rodeo is taking place at the Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles all weekend with shows on Friday and Saturday. It is the 75th anniversary of the event and it is back now inside the Burton Coliseum.

Val's Lounge/Tenana's will be hosting a benefit poker run, jambalaya cookoff, and live music benefit for Mrs. Amanda Vige'. Amanda unfortunately lost her battle last week and they are raising funds for medical and funeral expenses for her husband Gee who is a local musician who plays in the Johnny Jimenez band and has donated his time for countless benefits and now needs your help.
