What do you feel like doing? There are sporting events, concerts, and other events going on in the area to choose from, so let's get it started. Here's what is going on in the lake area for the weekend of November 21st through 23rd.
Country music group Midland will be live in Lake Charles on Friday night, November 21st, at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the show will start at 8:30 pm.
The McNeese Cowboys football team will be traveling down the road to Beaumont, Texas, to take on the Lamar Cardinals Saturday afternoon. Kick off for the game is set for 3:00 pm, and if you can't make it out to the game, you can listen to it on our sister station, 92.9 The Lake, here.
Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition will be live at Jellystone RV park and resort on Saturday night. There is a gumbo cook-off going on that day, and the band will be playing in the pavilion starting at 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. If you are not camping out there, you can pay a small entry fee at the gate and go in and enjoy the show.
Legendary band Three Dog Night will also be performing at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center in Lake Charles, but on Saturday night, November 22nd. The doors for that show will open at 6:30 pm, and the show will start at 8:00 pm.
