Former LSU Star Running Back Derrius Guice Making Football Comeback
A former LSU star running back, and Baton Rouge native, is attempting to resurrect his career three years after getting cut from the NFL.
Derrius Guice was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 2018. A number of off-the-field issues and injuries lead to him being cut from the team in 2020.
Derrius Guice Is Making His Football Comeback With The Indoor Football League
After a three-year hiatus from being on the football field, Derrius has returned to make his football comeback. He was signed by the Las Vegas Knight Hawks of the Indoor Football League in February of this year.
Guice started the season behind Davonte Sapp-Lynch, the half-brother of Marshawn Lynch. Unfortunately, Sapp-Lynch is out due to injury, and now that gives the keys to the running game to Derrius Guice. And he didn't disappoint.
Guice came out the gate running hard and scored the first touchdown of the game as the Knight Hawks faced the Arizona Rattlers this past weekend.
