I-10 traffic is currently scheduled to transition to the new bridge on February 2030 and the old bridge will be demolished.

The new bridge will feature two auxiliary lanes for entry and exit, three travel lanes on each side, and shoulders on both sides.

Tolling on bridge travelers will begin on August 2031. Since toll prices are based on the annual Consumer Price Index, final toll rates are not yet available.
