Chase Apologizes After Heated Exchange With Jalen Ramsey
(KHLA - Lake Charles, Louisiana) - A former LSU Tiger football player is in hot water after he spit on a competitor two weeks ago.
Two weeks ago, Ja'Marr Chase and Jalen Ramsey of the Pittsburg Steelers had a heated conversation on the field. Initially, the only action officials and fans saw was Ramsay attacking Chase seemingly for no reason.

Ramsey was kicked out of the game for fighting. He later defended himself at the post-game press conference that Ja'Marr had spit on him.
After that, footage started to be released of the close-up version of their interaction, and you could clearly see Chase did in fact spit on him.

After watching footage of the altercation between the former LSU standout and Steelers CB Jalen Ramsey, the NFL suspended him for one game without pay. After an appeal, the league affirmed the penalty. As a result, Chase lost over $500,000 in pay and bonuses.
