Baton Rouge, Louisiana: LSU Lady Tigers Will Play In The ‘Final Four’ This Friday

The LSU Lady Tigers basketball team are having a Cinderella season as they advance to the Final Four in the NCAA March Madness tournament.

Coach Kim Mulkey took over a horrendous LSU women's basketball club two years ago and she warned that the rebuild would take some time when she was hired.  Well, apparently Coach uses a different clock than us mere mortals, because she hit the ground running and the Lady Tigers under her command were an immediate success.

The team had only nine wins the year before Mulkey took over. She immediately brought the club into new winning ways with 26 wins her first season and making it to the second round of the NCAA tournament. This year the Lady Tigers won 32 games and have advanced to the Final Four.

They will play the number one team in their bracket, Virginia Tech, this Friday at 6:00pm on ESPN.
