A recent study by Coffeeness made sure the focus remained on beers with a significant national presence and consumer awareness by using YouGov's Popularity Ratings to create a list of well-known beer brands. In order to get insight into regional beer preferences based on consumer curiosity and online interaction rather than direct sales, they next examined Google Trends data from all 50 states and Washington, D.C., to identify which brands had the most search interest in each state.
Louisiana's favorite beer was also the favorite of 30 other states across the country.
