If anybody knows about changing trends in music it's Johnny Gill.  As both a solo artist and a member of New Edition, his career has span more than 20 years and yet he's managed to remain a top contender when it comes to making a hit record.

Speaking of which, Johnny Gill's new album "Game Changer" is now in stores and it's gonna bring fans back to the classic R&B sound he's known for.   Gill sat down with BET.com and said, “Sometimes in music when you’re considered old school, you don’t get celebrated you get penalized.”  But if his new single, 'Behind Closed Doors' is old school, I don't wanna be nu skool, cause it's the bomb.com.

The song was written by Babyface and though, he keeps his same style, Johnny showed off his falsetto skillz as well.  Take a look at the sexy new video below!

Another standout track on the LP is “This One’s for Me and You,” featuring New Edition. Johnny said when they recorded the song, they were all on tour, adding “It was like we never missed a beat!"  He also said, “We were just sitting in there talking and laughing and at the end of the day that bug came over us and we started talking like, ‘Wow, we gotta get a new CD together, and make some new music as New Edition,’ so that’s how it really ignited and that’s something we’re in the middle of getting situated as well. Fans can expect a new New Edition album coming.”

Johnny revealed his new album was released through his label, J Skillz Records and shared “It’s nice. I’m not looking at the clock anymore going, ‘This studio time is costing me,’ cause I own the studio. I can record at my own pace, which makes it better and more enjoyable for me,” said Johnny. “I’m fortunate to be able to be my own boss. I can control where my music is going, how it’s getting out there and how it’s being cared for. It’s something I’ve never had the opportunity to do and I am enjoying every second of it."

In other news, AllHipHop reports just in time for Christmas Fabolous is dropping his new album The Young OG Project.  Fab stopped by The Breakfast Club and gave up a few details, explaining the entire LP has a 90's theme.  He's going in, hitting us with throwbacks like LL Cool J’s “Doin’ It Well” and Nas's “Oochie Wally,” with a new-skool swing.  The Brooklyn MC's even spottin a 90's box-top fade.

The Young OG Project, by Fabolous drops Christmas day and includes several samples from some of the biggest hits in Hip Hop and collabs with everybody from Chris Brown to Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj and more.

However, he told The BC crew some songs may not make the album because of clearance issues.  Below Fab talks his new album, the recent run-in between Diddy and Drake and the controversy with Lil Wayne and Baby and much more.

Last but not least, Ludacris is also back on the scene with a new project.  The Hotlanta MC has two singles out, ‘Good Lovin‘ featuring Miguel and ‘In My Life‘ featuring John Legend and I'm happy to say both will be featured on his new EP, ‘Burning Bridges.’

TheBoomBox reports though Luda's new project only has six tracks, it gets a lot off his chest and covers a variety of topics from love, to being targeted by bloggers, the grind never stops, being under rated and kickin a few associates to the curb for being disloyal. He even did a song with Country superstar Jason Aldean.

By the way, 'Burning Bridges' can be streamed or downloaded for a limited time for free on Google Play.  Hopefully Luda's new EP can hold you down till his highly anticipated, eighth album... ‘Ludaversal,’ is in stores March 2015.

Here's a look the ‘Burning Bridges’ Tracklist

1. ‘New Beginning Intro’
2. ‘Money’ (featuring Rick Ross)
3. ‘Problems’ (featuring Cee Lo Green)
