According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kim Myers, CPSO will participate in the national crackdown on drunk driving. A grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission makes it all possible.

According to a press release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, 43-year-old Richard H. LeDoux Jr. was arrested on November 17 at roughly 2 a.m., for 4th offense DWI.

In an effort to combat impaired driving in our area of South West Louisiana, as well as to increase seatbelt usage, the Louisiana State Police Troop D will conduct a DWI and seatbelt checkpoint on Friday, April 19, 2013, from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location in the Calcasieu Parish area.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is going to be conducting a DWI sobriety checkpoint this Saturday night March 9th somewhere in the parish. It is an ongoing effort to keep the highways and roadways safe.

Bobby Brown was arrested on suspicion of DUI this afternoon in Reseda, California.
