In an effort to combat impaired driving in our area of South West Louisiana, as well as to increase seatbelt usage, the Louisiana State Police Troop D will conduct a DWI and seatbelt checkpoint on Friday, April 19, 2013, from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location in the Calcasieu Parish area.
