The McNeese athletic department has named the next head coach of the McNeese football program.

The McNeese Athletic department has decided to part ways with now former head football coach Lance Guidry.

The McNeese Cowboys will be celebrating homecoming all next week here in Lake Charles and here is how you can get into the parade.

The National FCS polls were released yesterday and the Cowboys only fell one spot in each poll.

The Cowboys are undefeated at 3-0 on the season and a perfect 2-0 in Southland Conference play. They we rewarded in the polls this week for their efforts.

Even though the pokes are 2-0 on the season and they had a convincing win last Saturday, the poll voters didn't show the pokes any love.

With an impressive road win this past Saturday, the pokes impressed the voters and jumped up in the FCS polls.

College football is right around the corner, and for the McNeese Cowboys football team, they already have some good news even before the season starts.

The McNeese Athletic Department has announced that due to a donation from Lake Charles businessman Robert Noland, the stadium will be getting a makeover.
