This Black History month, we continue to recognize and remember the great works of African Americans that helped change and shape America.

Last week we lost a treasure to the world. A man who solidifies peace and forgiveness. At the age of 95 we lost Nelson Mandela. He was actually released from prison in South Africa in 1990 after being locked up for 27 years. A few months after being released. He gave this very touching speech, and you can check it out here.

Longtime civil-rights leader and former president of South Africa Nelson Mandela died Thursday due to complications from a lung infection. He was 95 years old.
