Mayor Latoya Cantrell of New Orleans was asked again at her press conference today about the Saints welcoming fans into the Superdome for upcoming home games. Cantrell noted that Tiger Stadium, "Could be a great place, temporarily" when referring to the Saints potentially taking their home games to Baton Rouge.
Mayor-President Josh Guillory of Lafayette has a solution for the New Orleans Saints not being able to have fans inside of the Superdome for home games. He has offered the Saints and the NFL the option to host Saints home games in Lafayette at Cajun Field if Mayor Cantrell will not allow fans in the Superdome.
New addition to the team, Emmanuel Sanders, said that Saints quarterback Drew Brees cried during his apology to his teammates after his comments made in June in regards to kneeling during the National Anthem.
The New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans are teaming up with the NFL Foundation to donate $500,000 to relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Laura in Louisiana. Hurricane Laura was the most powerful storm to hit Louisiana in 100 years.
News broke that the New Orleans Saints have signed Taysom Hill to a two year contract and they are also in talks with former Tampa Bay Buc, Jameis Winston.
