A 17-year-old was arrested on Friday at Sam Houston High School after administrators learned he had a CO2-powered pellet pistol in the waistband of his pants.

Detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office were notified about a threat from a student at Sam Houston High School in Moss Bluff on Tuesday morning.
