Sobriety and Seatbelt Checkpoint

Be aware CPSO will be conducting a DWI/Seatbelt checkpoint somewhere in the parish on Thursday, December 18th. Buckle up, and don’t drink and drive.

This week the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is continuing their efforts to keep citizens safe, by conducting another DWI/Seatbelt checkpoint at an undisclosed location in the parish on Friday, August 15th.

Make sure you don’t drink and drive, and always buckle that seatbelt because this weekend CPSO will be at an undisclosed location in the parish making sure you’re obeying the law!

In an effort to combat impaired driving in our area of South West Louisiana, as well as to increase seatbelt usage, the Louisiana State Police Troop D will conduct a DWI and seatbelt checkpoint on Friday, April 19, 2013, from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location in the Calcasieu Parish area.
