The Dark Knight Rises

The hip-hop community have taken to Twitter to express their condolences in the wake of the horrible shooting that occurred at a movie theater in Aurora, Colo., on Friday (July 20). According to the Denver Post, a lone gunman, later identified as 24-year-old James Eagan Holmes, opened fire in the theater during a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises, killing at least 12 people and injuring 59

A press conference in Aurora, Colo., just wrapped up and revealed more details from today’s movie theater shooting.  Officials have cleared the air on one issue, reporting that a total of 71 people were shot — 12 died, and 59 were wounded.

President Barack Obama was scheduled to speak this morning at a campaign stop in Fort Myers, Florida. Instead of speaking about his upcoming re-election campaign, he instead delivered a speech on the ‘Dark Knight Rises’ shooting in Aurora, Colorado.

When it comes to family time or maybe even just a simple date night with the misses.
