Tropical trouble is brewing in the Gulf of Mexico this weekend but Louisiana won't likely feel the effects for several days.

The 10 AM advisory has shifted the track of potential tropical storm Cindy even further to the west. Here's the latest.

All eyes in Louisiana will be focusing on the Gulf of Mexico over the next couple of days.

Is there another tropical trouble spot following in the path of Hermine? The Hurricane Center is watching a tropical wave that could be in the Caribbean Sea next week.

Tropical Depression 9 has become Tropical Storm Hermine. The forecast track remains focused on the Big Bend of Florida.

Tropical Storm Fiona may not be an issue for the Gulf of Mexico but a second tropical wave might give us more reason for concern by next week.

Tropical Depression Six has formed in the Atlantic Ocean. The current forecast track suggests that this system will not pose any threat to the United States mainland.

A strong tropical wave continues to move through the Caribbean Sea this morning. The threat to the United States coastline is minimal at this time.

There's really not much we can do about it, hurricane season is once again upon us.  I truly hope and pray that the seas will cooperate and leave us all free of disaster.  However, now is the time to start taking all of the precautionary measures.
