As we are still dealing with the fact of losing an Icon of an entertainer in Whitney Houston, The Grammys last night really pulled out all the stops with a rousing performance from Jennifer Hudson!

So I was on what was to be a romantic date with my wife and I got the word that Whitney Houston had passed. Although the restuarant that we were in had basically sports all over the tv's, but it didn't take long for the word to get out about the passing of this icon of the music and movie industry.

While the details are not yet known, legendary singer Whitney Houston has been reported dead at age 48, according to her publicist. The shocking news comes on the eve of the Grammy Awards, and in fact, many media outlets reported Houston leaving a Grammy party last night in very bad condition.
