Calcasieu Workforce Dept. Board To Host Ability Works Regional Employer Summit

On September 9, the Calcasieu Parish Workforce Development Board is going to host an Ability Works Regional Employer Summit. This will serve as a great way for employers to important info on various guidelines, compliance, city and state laws and much more.

There will also be a few guest speakers on hand to answer questions and share useful tips on hiring, recruiting, and retaining people with disabilities. Those businesses and employers who attend this event will be provided with an extensive and diverse range of hiring info not only on a federal level, but also state, local perspectives.

The Ability Works Regional Employer Summit will be on September 9th from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and take place at the Calcasieu Business & Career Solutions Center located at 2424 Third Street in Lake Charles.
