The Secret Service aren't just your run of the mill law enforcement officers, these guy's guard the President of the United States! They're trained to take a bullet for the president if they have to. So how did they get involved with Chris Brown's recent altercation outside the W Hotel in Washington, D.C.? Let's just say, they were in the right place at the right time. At least in Chris's favor they were.

Apparently a Secret Service agent was patrolling the streets near the White House on Sunday (Oct. 27), when Chris Brown and his bodyguard were arrested for assault.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, a witness who saw the altercation take place  on Sunday morning told authorities he heard the victim tell police, Brown did not hit him. That officer has denied speaking with the witness.

A Secret Service agent, who was in uniform and on duty, contacted D.C. police to inform them that he was nearby during the incident and that he heard the victim tell the cop that Brown did not hit the alleged victim. The agent insisted that he heard the victim's admission to the police officer, that Chris Brown never struck him. Dun, dun, duuuuuun!

You know that straw that broke the camels back? Well, this could be the break Chris Brown in this situation. The Secret Service agent's testimony could torch the credibility of the alleged victim and make prosecutors drop the misdemeanor assault case all together. A big break for Brown who is still on probation. If a judge revokes his probation, Chris could be facing the possibility of four years in the prison. Yikes!

In it's fairness, let's hope Breezy gets himself together.
