The final stages of the U.S. Presidential race are here. The nominating conventions are over, and each party has named their nominee for President. The Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine, and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump and Mike Pence. Now that all the pomp and circumstance of the conventions are over, each Presidential Nominee and their Vice President running mates will campaign across the country, laying-out their plans to voters.

The next step is the debates, where the nominees will further explain their views. Once that process is complete, the only thing left is for America to go to the polls and vote for who they think should be the next President of the United States. Will it be Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump? The choice is yours to make. Just please don't stay home on election day, Tuesday November 8, 2016. Get out and vote.

YOUR VOTE MATTERS!

Electing a new President isn't the only thing at stake this election. America will also be voting on who will control the Senate, which is currently run by Republicans. This is a HUGE deal, because the Senate can help or stop a President from achieving his or her agenda, and ultimately effect their legacy. This has been a major problem for President Barack Obama. FYI, there are a total of 469 seats in the U.S. Congress. On November 8, 2016, 34 Senate seats and all 435 House seats will be up for election (Democrats need to gain five seats to regain control.) YOU have the power to keep the Senate the way it is, or make some serious changes with your vote.
